The Instructor

Amirah David is a Licensed Professional Counselor, practicing for 10 years. She is a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Professional and has extensive training in prevention and treatment of perinatal mental health difficulties. She is an educator for hospitals and clinics, preparing expecting and new parents for the realities of this huge transition, while seeing clients in her private practice to treat postpartum depression and anxiety. Amirah has two children of her own (now 5 and 8) and lives in Ashland, OR.​
